Coedpenmaen Primary School
The works involved the construction of a new Junior School and boiler house and the full refurbishment of the existing Infants school together with associated services.
This project relates to the existing Coedpenmaen Primary School, Pontypridd, the Junior School block of which was extensively damaged due to a fire and had to be fully demolished including the foundations.
The infant school is a traditional Victorian structure with adjoining Boiler House and Store.
It involved the build and fit out of 7 new classrooms, changing areas and offices, refurbishment of the existing school including the school hall and kitchen and the extension of the playground facilities to include a soft play area.
