Dare Valley Country Park is a leisure facility near Aberdare which is open to the general public and offers a range of outdoor activities.
Works comprised of a new entrance and refurbishment to the Dare Valley Country Park Visitors Centre and Accommodation Block.
Works included internal alterations forming a new Country Park Cafe, 'Y Cwtch' and upgrading of the kitchen and toilet facilities. A new interactive visitor centre was formed, together with a new conservatory and refurbished reception area. The central heating system was also upgraded together with associated services and external works.
This project was the 2nd phase of the development of Dare Valley, the 1st phase being completed by R&M Williams Ltd 2 years earlier.
Additional works awarded included the decoration and new floor coverings to existing offices
